Metal Yantra symbolizes the Lung/Large Intestine Meridian

The metal element blooms in the Autumn. Imagine if we all were able to truly let go that which doesn’t serve us live in courage. We are all made of stardust. Universal elements bound together to live out the gift of life at this current time. We all encounter grief and loss in life. It can bring us to our knees and weep rivers of tears. Metal allows us cover every inch of ourselves in gold, silver and gems. To shine our brightest and let our old patterns that hold us back slip away. Engage in the death of the ego. Revel in the treasure of our unique blueprint. To prepare for our winter rest so we can rest and germinate to start a new cycle.

Thousands of years ago in northern India, yantras along with mantras, manifested themselves to the tantric seers. The yantra is the body of the deity and the mantra is the mind. Each represent an aspect of the universe. Yantras are constructed through a methodical process using sacred geometry.

My process for creating a mosaic Yantra starts with laying out the yantra on wood with a ruler and compass. I then cut glass tile into the shapes I desire and glue them down. Then I grout the piece and clean it till it shines awaiting its forever home.
